Haven Gear Riot Suit Replacement Parts: What's Available and When to Order

Protective equipment that cannot be maintained becomes disposable. A single failed component, a torn leg guard, a cracked face shield, a compressed foam insert, should not mean replacing an entire suit system. Haven Gear stocks individual replacement parts for the Enforcer, Patrol, and Arsenal suit lines so departments can keep officers equipped through targeted replacement rather than complete kit turnover.

Limb Kit

The Haven Gear Limb Kit provides full arm and leg protection designed to be donned rapidly over standard patrol attire. It covers the extremities that take the most contact in crowd situations and is compact enough to stage in a patrol vehicle without taking meaningful space. Extenders are available for officers whose limb length falls outside the standard range. The Limb Kit is also the right answer for officers who need to transition from ungeared to protected in under two minutes when a situation develops without staging time. View Limb Kit →

Arm Protectors

Upper and lower arm protectors, covering the upper arm, forearm, and elbow, are available in both Enforcer and Patrol styles. Each set ships as a pair and attaches to the corresponding suit carrier. Arms take significant contact during crowd control operations, and the protectors at this position tend to accumulate impact faster than the torso panels because they are directly in the path of thrown objects and blocking impacts. When a single protector shows visible deformation or the stitching at the attachment points begins to fail, replace the pair rather than waiting for complete failure. View Arm Protectors →

Thigh Protectors

Thigh protectors ship as a set in Enforcer and Patrol styles. The thigh is one of the most frequently contacted areas during mounted unit deployments and is exposed during the approach and egress phases of foot operations. High-frequency contact at this location accelerates wear faster than less-exposed components. Annual inspection of thigh protector condition is worth adding to any department's gear review cycle.

Leg Guards

Leg guards in both Enforcer and Patrol styles include non-slip knee caps. Knee coverage takes two types of stress: direct impact from projectiles and repeated compression from kneeling on hard surfaces during containment and extraction operations. The non-slip knee cap keeps the guard positioned correctly during movement, which is one of the details that determines whether a knee guard is actually protecting the knee or has rotated out of position. Replace leg guards when the knee cap shows surface cracking or when the backing straps have lost elasticity. View Leg Guards →

Groin Guards

Groin guards for the Enforcer and Patrol suits are stocked separately and are not cups. They provide soft tissue and structural protection at the groin, an area that is both high-priority for protection and frequently overlooked in replacement cycles because it is not visible during a standard equipment inspection. Check groin guard condition during every semi-annual gear review.

Groin Cup Kit for Arsenal

The Groin Cup Kit for the Arsenal configuration includes a set of thigh protectors and a groin cup. Officers using the Arsenal setup should confirm that the cup component is within service life before each deployment season. Cups degrade from compression and repeated donning cycles rather than from impact, so inspection by feel rather than visual check is more reliable.

Helmet Parts

Three helmet components are stocked individually:

Riot Face Shield Replacement, Polycarbonate, 4mm is compatible with standard riot helmets and adjustable for use with ballistic helmets. Any face shield that has taken a direct impact should be replaced before the next deployment, regardless of whether surface damage is visible. Internal micro-fractures from impact are not detectable without close inspection under light, and a shield that has been impacted once has a materially different failure profile than one that has not.

Replacement Face Shield for HG-HMAT Helmet is 3.5mm polycarbonate specific to the HG-HMAT riot helmet. These are not interchangeable with the standard 4mm replacement.

Replacement Neck Guard for HG-HMAT Helmet is the rear neck guard for the HG-HMAT. It is typically the first helmet component to show wear from regular deployment and is frequently the last one departments think to replace.
